Kenston Pension Ltd, in its function as a court-approved pension consulting firm for occupational pension provision, acts as a focused legal and special service provider focusing exclusively on the areas of occupational pension provision and working time accounts. As a nationwide “competence centre”, Kenston Pension Ltd serves clients from the following groups and sectors in this field:

  • Tax consultants and auditors;
  • Lawyers and legal advisors;
  • Management consultants and high-quality financial service providers;
  • Companies of all sizes from all sectors.

The objective of the cooperation between Kenston Pension Ltd and the above-mentioned legal, tax and financial advisory professions is regularly to outsource all legal and pension consulting activities that are subject to licensing and are relevant to liability to Kenston Pension Ltd. These activities include, above all, consulting services in the following, exemplarily listed, legal areas of occupational pension provision:

  • Labour law;
  • Tax and accounting law;
  • Social security law;
  • Insurance contract law;
  • Legal and pension consulting law;
  • Liability law, etc.

Kenston Pension Ltd also carries out the same activities directly for company mandates. The main aim is to provide employers with legally sound support in the implementation of pension and security strategies in the areas of consulting listed above, which are susceptible to liability.

The legal basis for Kenston Pension Ltd to exercise and execute the relevant consulting services is the Legal Advice Act (RBerG), the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO), the Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG) and, since 1 July 2008, the Legal Services Act (RDG).

The core component of Kenston Pension Ltd‘s field of activity is the provision of third-party legal services or any activity in third-party legal services that may only be performed by court-approved or registered natural or legal persons. In addition, the pension consultant is always licensed or registered by the court and is subject to the supervision of the president of the responsible local, regional or higher regional court. In addition, the pension consultant is absolutely independent in representing the interests of his clients.

Managing Director of Kenston Pension Ltd is Sebastian Uckermann.

Mr. Uckermann, in his function as a court-approved pension consultant for company pension schemes, is at the same time head of the KENSTON GROUP (www.kenston.de), “Chairman of the Federal Association of Legal Advisors for Company Pension Plans and Time Value Accounts r.A.(BRBZ)” as well as author of numerous practical and scientific specialist publications in the field of company pension schemes and time value accounts. In addition, Mr. Uckermann is the editor and author of a standard commentary on company pension schemes published by Beck-Publishing House.

Mr. Drees, a graduate business economist and court-approved pension consultant for company pension schemes, is – in addition to his activities for Kenston Pension Ltd – head of the KENSTON GROUP, member of the board of trustees of the BRBZ and author of numerous specialist publications in the field of company pension schemes and remuneration. In addition, Mr. Drees is co-author of a standard commentary on company pension schemes at Beck-Publishing House.
